International Women's Day: March 8, 2005 - Laleh Park
There weren't any public celebrations of International Women's Day on March 8, 2005. Following the 2004's cancellation of the event, which was officially authorized but later cancelled by the police, women's groups decided to have their events in closed spaces. Several small seminars and workshops were held by various women's organization, and Laleh Park did not host any event that year.
