My name is Derrick Peat. I am sophomore with a major in journalism and minor in Arabic at the University of Florida.
This site was done for my MMC 3260 Electronic Publishing course. I was born in Jamaica, and even though I never visited Port Royal, I had always heard stories about how it was a center for piracy in the Caribbean.
