Buried within a sinkhole in the middle of a limestone quarry in Newberry, Fla. are 2-million-year-old fossils from the mammals who once inhabited the area. A team of excavators from the Vertebate Paleontology department at the Florida Museum of Natural History at the University of Florida are digging everyday of the week alongside volunteers all hoping to find that important new peice of the past.
