The Cause: Pediatric Cancer Research

Cancer is the leading cause of death from disease in children under the age of 15, according to the American Cancer Society. The five year survival rate for children with cancer has increased in recent years to about 78%. This increase is due to the tremendous resources put into the research behind exciting new treatments.

But there is still work to be done. The research currently being done must continue to help the approximately 9,200 children that were diagnosed with cancer in 2004.
