Although it may be spread out, Hernando provides easy access to almost anything one could want. Three local hospitals, two movie theatres, access to rivers, lakes, nature trails and the Gulf of Mexico, a skate park, dozens of chain restaurants and what seems like two million shopping plazas allow for countless activities. And if itís not here, Tampa is just 30 minutes away on the new Suncoast Express Way.
And despite the ever-expanding sub-divisions, non-stop business construction and growing traffic problems, Hernando is still home to over 20 parks, beaches and reserved wetlands and forests.
