Dinosaurs
It was apparently fashionable between 1950 and 1980 to build giant dinosaurs in Hernando. These dinosaurs give Hernando a splash of flavor that few other places can rival.

This dinosaur doubles as an auto garage on U.S. 19 near Hwy. 50.

This dinosaur, also on the side of U.S. 19, lives next to a barber shop and the Hernando County Democratic Party Headquarters.

This misfortunate dinosaur, located just off of Hwy. 41 in Brooksville, lost his head and now doubles as a trash receptacle.
