The fast food industry is not out to make America fatter... Americans are doing it to themselves. Actually, fast food restaurants do not try to hide the fact that their food is high in fat. Most restaurants are very good about providing nutrition information about their foods. Fast food restaurants are much better at providing nutrition information than other restaurants are.

Many fast food restaurants have web sites that provide lots of information.

Here are a few foods that we eat and their nutritional values.

If you are going to eat at those place everyday, here are some tips to eat healthier.

  1. To decrease fat, avoid mayonnaise, cheese and bacon.
  2. Grilled chicken will be lower in total fat and saturated fat than a grilled hamburger. To decrease sodium, avoid cheese and pickles and salt on French fries.
