The bottom composition is sandy, making Jensen Beach another great place for beginning surfers. The waves here may not be consistent, but they can be large if the swell is right.

If you want to enjoy the beach but don’t want to get wet, bring your athletic shoes. Jensen Beach has two basketball courts and volleyball nets. Also, bring food to enjoy with friends at the ample picnic tables.
