Gephart will increase federal grants and loans for higher education and make more middle-class student and families able to receive financial aid. He will also support the creation of public preschools and increase funding for after-school programs.(*)
Gephardt favors involving the UN, NATO and America's allies in efforts in Iraq.(*)
Gephardt supports a woman's right to choose. He will keep Title IX intact.(*) He supports health care coverage for contraceptives on equal parity with other prescriptions.(*)
