Extracurricular Activities
- Completed over 100 hours of community service in high school as well as 40 more in college. (100 hours with the Russell Home for the Mentally Disabled in Orlando) (Over 40 hours with the Division of Blind Services in Gainesville.) My responsibilities at Russell Home were to simply hang out and have fun with the patients. At Blind Services I spent a week helping four blind people clean their house, study for tests, cook dinner and run errands.
- High School Ambassador – I gave tours to incoming freshmen classes and parents and put together functions for incoming students to get to know each other. (i.e.: dances, luncheons, orientation)
- Honor Code Society – Chosen as 1 of 8 students to write the school’s honor code. The honor code is signed by all students when they register for school and before taking exams.
