I spent my formative years in Yuma, Arizona, a small town close to the Mexico/California border. Yuma is famous for an old prison. It's also famous for old people. Note the blossoming of recreational vehicles on the hillside.
At the ripe old age of eighteen, I decided to get as far away from home as possible. I moved to New York City and attended Columbia University. There I earned my degree in American Studies. I made great friends and fell in love with the city...dirt, crime, snow and all.
After graduation, I was at a loss. I worked for a year in the clerical arts, and decided there must be some greater calling for me. It was then that I decided to return to school. The University of Florida was beckoning. Currently, I am pursuing my master's degree in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Telecommunications. I have enjoyed my time here and sampled many of Florida's cultural activities.
