This is How I Do It (myself)

My Favorite DIY Projects

DIY (do it yourself), a three-letter combination; so simple, so wonderful, so intimidating. Don’t lie, if you’re anything like me you see all these cute crafty DIY projects, you love them and want to do them so bad! So you tell yourself you’re going to do it, but we all know that basically never happens. However, thanks to the amazing world of Pinterest I have recently gotten very into the craft world and have actually completed projects.

The first project I did was fairly simple. I collected different used glass jars, cleaned them out, and poured paint inside them. I now use them as pencil holders on my desk

Another project that I hold near and dear to my heart is my kitchen chalk wall. I painted the wall in chalk paint and covered it with different inspiring quotes. It is a great change to the environment.

This next project might be the most brilliant idea I have ever encountered on the Internet. It is a magnetic make-up board. This project is a little more complicated to create but well worth it! I had to cut a metal board to the size of my frame, glue a fabric over the board, and then glue magnets on to my make-up. Once that is done all that is left is to place the make-up wherever. It is a very unique and convenient project.

These projects have become some what therapuetic for me. It is always so rewarding to see the finished outcome.
