Things That Make Me Smile
My favorite past time is cooking and baking. It's such a great release and its always fun. I get to be creative and think of new ways to make a dish even better than the last time I made it. In a baker's world, things never stay the same.
I just recently gave up cheerleading to focus on school but I used to eat, sleep, and breathe cheerleading. Not only did I cheer myself, but I coached it as well. I worked with age groups 4 to 8 and I loved every minute of it. We were such an awesome little family and I can honestly say coaching has been one of the happiest memories I have. I still keep in contact with some of the girls and families, which makes the separation a little easier.
When I wasn't coaching I was cheering myself. I was extremely happy as soon as I hit the cheer floor. Working and pushing yourself to be your absolute best is a feeling you will never forget. It's such an accomplishment to walk away from every practice knowing you conquered whatever challenge was thrown your way. Not to mention cheerleading kept me in the best shape!
I'm not exactly sure if you can call this a hobby but I love taking care of my new puppy. Her name is Mia and she is a black Lab mixed with border collie. I adopted her 4 months ago and she has definitely been keeping me busy. We are always going for a walk or a trip to the dog park. The best part about her is she lets me groom her all the time. She is always getting a bath, getting her nails polished and getting her fur coat brushed and wiped with juicy pear wipes! She's a little diva in the making!
