Holly Kane Morocco

In high school, I took a trip to Spain that included a day excursion to Tetouan, Morocco. Our guides deemed it too dangerous for us to venture into the city by ourselves, so I paid one euro to ride a camel for three minutes. It was awesome. I learned, though, that traveling requires more work than paying to ride a camel. I try to adopt the same attitude toward journalism: You have to work for it.

La Playa Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica

To the right is apicture of me enjoying the sand and sea in La Playa Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. I studied abroad in Costa Rica my sophomore year, where I lived with a family and attended classes. And when I say attended "classes," I mean beaches and bars.
