Sports have been a big part of my life probably since I was in middle school. Although I have always been a Gator fan, I really learned to love football as a sport after I attended my first Gator game when I was 10. Now I actively follow college football and basketball as well as NASCAR almost religiously.

Gator Football

Gator Football

During the fall, I eat, sleep and breath college football. Every Saturday I start the day with ESPN College Gameday and end it with Sportscenter. On average I'll watch three to four games per weekend, making sure I catch every SEC game and a couple of non-conference games as well. It's a family thing. My dad's pretty much the exact same way and the majority of our family has season tickets. I've loved Gator football my whole life and was pretty much destined to be a Gator from birth. There's no greater feeling than watching the team come running out of the locker room in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on a gameday.

Although I love Gator football, NASCAR is my first love. I've been a Jeff Gordon fan since I was four and learned who he was. My love of the sport was cemented when I was eight and got to attend the, then Pepsi, now Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway. My dad worked there when I was a kid and we got to park in the infield in an area that has since been deemed "unsafe" for people to park in to watch the race. In addition to watching the race every Sunday, I also keep a blog about it. You can check it out here.
