My favorite places in Europe

Me in a phonebooth in London

I loved everything about London! The city seemed so alive and full of so much character. Seeing the Tower of London, the British Museum and Covent Garden are favorite memories I have from the trip. I was also really surprised about how amazing the food was, since it usually gets such a bad rap. I had some amazing Indian food while I was there, as well as the quintessential fish and chips.

After living in Florence for almost four months it felt like home. I loved walking on the tiny cobblestone streets and exploring new places in the city. One of my favorite places to go in the city was Piazza Michelangelo, which you had to climb up a long, long flight of steps to get to. The view was always worth it though, because from the top you could see the whole entire city.

Paris was everything you would think of and more! It was so chic and exciting. Every corner would lead to new cute street with countless bakeries and clothes boutiques. It was heaven!

Even though I visited Capri in October and did not get to go swimming, I still had a great time. The island was so beautiful and the people were so hospitable. In Capri you can ride a chair lift to the top of the mountain and see the most spectacular view. All around me was just endless water and off in the distance I could see the cities of Naples, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. I know that I will be back to Capri soon!

Rome was such a hectic, crazy city but I loved it! After every corner would be an ancient ruin of some kind or a beautiful piazza with fountains. The food was also so good! I heard that Rome had a lot of tourist trap restaurants with bad food, but I didn't have any. My favorite pasta, the amatricana, I first tried in Rome.
