During my Junior year of study at the University of California-Santa Cruz, I received a scholarship
to study abroad in Santiago, the giant capital city of Chile for one academic year. During my studies abroad, which actually spanned out into
nearly two years, I had the opportunity to travel to Peru, Bolvia, Argentina, and the Southern tip of the Chilean region
