Hometown: Ooltewah, Tenn., an unincorporated town just outside Chattanooga. Ooltewah's claims to fame include: The Honors golf course, a private course where the U.S. Amateurs tournament has been played; the headquarters of Litespeed, makers of fabulous and expensive titanium bicycles; and the rumored home-to-be of Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning.
On the job: Worked as both a reporter and an editor at papers in North Georgia and East Tennessee. Work history

Currently reading: "The Alienist" by Caleb Carr, so far so good but I've been on page 63 since the spring semester started.
