Jeremy Wise's travels

I love to travel because it is fun to see and experience new areas and things. While I have not traveled as much as I have wanted to, I have been to some pretty awesome locations to do some awesome things. I've been on a ski trip to Snowshoe, West Virginia, to Atlanta several times and to many destinations in my home state of Alabama.

Of all the places that I have been, though, I enjoy the mountains of Tennessee the most. I have been whitewater rafting down the Ocoee River and I have been to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Whitewater rafting on the Ocoee

In the summer of 2008, I took an opportunity to go whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River in Tennessee. From left is our river guide, me, my cousin Amber McCall, my cousin Andrew Fuller, and my Sunday School teacher Josh Carnley.

A lot of the trips I have been on involve going to a concert of some type, sometimes concert fests with multiple days of acts. That is what brought me to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, in December 2004.

My church's youth group went to the Winter Extreme Conference, where we watched musical acts like Kutless, Building 429 and Superchick. We also listened to preaching from Dr. Johnny Hunt and Tony Nolan, among others.

While in the area, we ate at the Hard Rock Cafe in Gatlinburg. While there, some of my group danced in the middle of the restaurant.

A few of my friends and I also went to the Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum, which was full of interesting items.

I have also attended concerts in Valdosta, Georgia, at Wild Aventures Theme Park and at Stone Mountain, Georgia. I was at Stone Mountain for two days last year as part of Atlanta Fest. While in the Atlanta area, my friends and I went to Six Flags over Georgia and an Atlanta Braves game.

The Smokey Mountains

While in Tennessee, we stayed in a chalet. Here is the view form the backyard.
