My life didn't begin until I met journalism.


And my life wasn't complete until I experienced that fabled feeling journalists live for. Yeah, you know the one. Before the mind can digest what your ears have just heard, an alarm sends the nervous system into elevated alert. A story is detected! It is a neural event, a feeling as obvious as any recorded by the five senses...except better.

This is the story of how I found a story and how that story surged like a current in every axiom of my body.
