Alpha Omicron Pi Flag Football Team 2006 Alpha Omicron Pi Championship Team

My number one hobby in life is playing sports. When I was eight I joined a competitive soccer league, and over the years I added gymnastics, volleyball, softball, track, cheerleading and flag football to the list. In high school, I participated in a varsity sport every season. I'll never forget the feeling of coming home from a strenuous practice or game, taking a scolding hot shower and devouring the meal my mom had waiting for me. Upon arriving at college, I replaced my varsity sports with intramurals. Flag football and soccer, both in women's and co-recreational divisions, were, and still are, my favorites. I have won four intramural championships in my time at UF and, though I hate to admit it, lost another handful in the finals. I hope to find intramural leagues to play in post graduation, and if I don't, I will probably try to find a fake student ID and play at the nearest university.

Another pass-time of mine is teaching group exercise classes. During the past five years, I have taught at University of Florida's Department of Recreational Sports, University of Miami's Wellness and Recreation Center and Gold's Gym South Beach . I am known for my difficult, upbeat classes and love giving people the workout of their life. (Well, maybe just of their week, but it still excites me!). I especially enjoy teaching kickboxing and circuit training classes.

A perfect example of what I do not teach! Gotta love aerobics of the '80s!
