My journalism experience began before I learned my times tables. At age seven, I became the sole reporter and editor of Blake Weekly, a not-so-weekly newspaper for my family of four. Although I only covered stories about new cereals my mother bought at Publix or report card grades, I knew my calling.

Now, as a second-year journalism major at the University of Florida, I'm trying to gain enough real-world experience to work at a slightly more renowned publication. As an avid runner, my dream is to eventually be an editor for Runner's World Magazine.

I'm trying to dip my toes into the world of the Web. This is my first time creating my own Web site, so bear with me and have fun looking around!
