Some of my friends call me by my middle name, Paloma, which means "dove" in spanish, so when I mustered up all my courage and jumped out of a plane in April, my friends couldn't resist saying "Paloma ha volado!" (the dove has flown). I've always wondered what it would feel like to fall toward the earth from 10,000 feet at 130 miles an hour. Well it's pretty exciting, and it happens so darn fast that you want to go back up for more. (Never would of thought that I was afraid of heights, huh?)

Besides living adventrously by throwing myself from planes, I attend the University of Florida. I am a senior in the College of Journalism majoring in Public Relations. If everything goes according to plan, I will be walking accross the stage in my cap and gown in December. Upon graduation I'll be job-huntingfor an exciting career in International Public Relations.
