Karen Meisenheimer
UF Journalism Grad Student
And GATORS Fanatic

As a second year graduate student following the journalism track in mass communications, I am fulfilling two of my dreams as a student at UF. It has always been an important goal of mine to earn a master's degree. I received a bachelor of arts degree in 1985 from the University of Central Florida in Journalism. Since then, I have worked as a newspaper reporter, public relations manager for a tour company in Europe and a restaurateur. I left behind a career in restaurant marketing and advertising in 1996 to pursue my dream to attend the University of Florida and became a true Gator.

I know the Gator fan angle is kind of cliche for this setting. But I was looking to tie all my pages into one theme, and this seemed to work pretty well.

This picture was taken at the Gators National Championship Celebration in January at The Swamp. It is my tribute to Danny Wuerffel. "God Bless Danny. UF's Best Ever."
