My Travels

Washington, D.C.

I went to our nation's capital for the first time in summer 2011. I was visiting my boyfriend, Andrew Green, who was doing an internship with Senator Marco Rubio. I visited the United States Capitol, the White House and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Also, I had the best Chinese food in my live at Ming's Restaurant.

Andrew and I pose in front of the massive U.S. Capitol building. It was such an exhausting day. There is so much to do and see in D.C. The National Museum of Natural History is part of the network of Smithsonian Museums. This museum features exhibits on the development of organism and cultures all over the world.

The Florida Keys

My family and friends have been taking regular trips to the Florida Keys for many years. I went for the first time when I was 13-years-old, and I've been back at least once a year every year since. We enjoy fishing together and relaxing. The atmosphere is so relaxed and fun!

My sister, Jordan Wilson, and I pose in front of the Southernmost Point buoy in Key West, Florida. This spot is said the be the furthest south a person can be within the continental U.S. My family (from left to right); my sister, Jordan; my mother, Michelle; my father, David and I enjoying lunch at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville.
