Just the basics...

My name is Michelle Menke. I am a twenty-one year-old senior who attends the wonderful University of Florida. I study Telecommunications-Production and I can't wait to have a job in this field after graduation. I LOVE my major and I have known what I wanted to study since the eighth grade. The only problem is, I don't know exactly what I want to do yet because I enjoy it all.

My new passion is traveling, and I have been to five countries this past year. I think it's more important to see the world and travel with the people you love than to live in a big house, saving your money, but never leaving your comfort zone and exploring other states and even countries. Work is important, but enjoying life always comes first. Check out my traveling site to see where I've been!

I love animals. I swerve my car for even the ugliest of animals like possums and I try not to step on ants. I have a cat named Reese because I couldn't stand not having an animal when I moved out of my house with five.

I always say I never get stressed to other people, but that is always a lie. The people who really know me have realized that I'm always thinking of what I need to do next. I love my life and the people in it. I live for love and am so excited for what comes next in life.

I love sports, and I'm proud to say that I can carry on a conversation with many guys about football. My family raised me watching all sports, even golf. In middle school, I played soccer, tennis, softball, and track. In high school, I chose to just play tennis and focus on school. Now that I'm in college and wasn't good enough to play a sport at the college level, I try to stay active by going to the gym and going on runs. It is tough to mix school with internships and still have time to work out and stay healthy, but I make it a mission to keep my health as a top priority.
