If I had the money, I would travel as much as I could. I have been to several states in the U.S., most frequently New York, Texas and the entire Eastern seaboard. In April 2008 I traveled to Anaheim, California with my high school chorus to compete in a festival. We visited Huntington Beach, Hollywood and several theme parks including Knott's Berry Farm. I would love to go back someday!

This past May, I traveled with about 90 fellow students from the University of Florida's College of Journalism and Communications, to Florence, Italy. This was my first time outside the United States, and the experience changed my life forever. I observed a completely different culture for four weeks while being able to study in a city with such rich history and tradition. We also traveled to Sorrento, Venice and Rome. During our free weekend a few students and I took a trip to Paris, which has been put on my list of most beautiful cities to visit.

Below is a video I made using Final Cut Pro while in Italy. As an assignment for my Basic Video Editing class, I had to interview a Florentine citizen. I ended up talking to Maria Giovanna Cimino, who makes her own ceramic plates and dishes.
