I have dedicated my life to being sustainable. It gives me purpose and makes me happy, both elements I feel too many people miss out on.

I want to live a zero-waste life and leave as little of a footprint as possible. I don’t know how I got into it, it had something to do with my dad showing me, as a child, to not be afraid of nature (I was afraid of EVERYTHING). I learned to embrace nature and as I grew up, I realized others didn’t give a damn about it. It broke my heart, but I didn’t do anything to change my ways or those of other. It wasn’t until college that I truly transformed my life. I was no longer living in my parent’s homes and, thus, could do the extreme things I know they’d think was too fanatical. My parents aren’t much for change, so trying to convince them to be a little greener is like moving mountains.
