Career & Education

After graduating from Michigan State University in 1999 with a Master of Science in animal science, I spent the past 12 years working at the University of Florida as a cooridator, managing various programs. While at UF, I have taken courses in journalism, as a way to enhance my skills in positions that have required a lot of communication skills. Currently, I am the coordinator/manager of a U.S. Department of Trasportation Tier-1, grant-funded University Transportation Center.

In 1995, I completed a bachelor's degree in biology with a specialization in biomedical sciences from the Universidad Interamericana of Puerto Rico, San German Campus. I graduated with honors as Magna Cum Laude. Because of my passion for animals, I then decided to pursue a master's degree in animal science. I chose Michigan State University to fulfil that dream, and in 1999, I recieved my degree.
