I have been lucky enough to be involved in really amazing organizations during my time at UF. Not only have I met some of the most talented and intelligent people I know in these groups, I have also gained tons of experience and hopefully influenced some individuals on the way.

Reitz Union Board Entertainment

RUB Entertainment is the entertainment programming board for the student union on campus. The organization provides free movies, bands, lecturers and comedians to campus for students.

Since freshman year, I have been on the Bands committee, helping to put on live music events.

During my junior year, I was director of the Bands committee and got to bring great national acts like John Vanderslice, the Thermals, Flosstradamus and the Walkmen along with programming a local and regional concert called Local Brew every other week.

RUB Entertainment really helped me realize my love for the music business, an industry that I hope to work in after graduation.

Honors Ambassadors

Honors Ambassadors, better known as HAs, are the student representatives of the Honors College at UF. We give prospective students and their families tours of the honors dormitory, Hume Hall, and explain all the great things that UF has to offer while calming the sometimes-irrational fears of many parents.

We also hold events for current freshmen to help them make their way at UF by showing them how to get involved on campus, learn all about study abroad and research opportunities and life after the dorms. I love having a little part in making new Gators!
