My favorite thing to do, hands down, is take photos. I first became interested in photography when I was in high school and took a beginning photography class at a local community college. Thankfully, the school had not yet given up on film photography, and I was taught how to develop my own photos in a darkroom. Now I shoot strictly digital, but I feel very lucky to have been able to learn how they did it “in the old days.” Being in the darkroom was not only fun, but very therapeutic.

Over the past five years I have enjoyed learning new techniques and skills that I can apply when shooting photos.
Here are just a few of my favorite photos I've taken:

A Merry-go-round in Auburn, Al A horse An apple Boy on merry-go-round
