"I don't care how poor a man is; if he has family, he's rich."-Dan Wilcox and Thad Mumford

My Family

Family is forever, it's a bond that is as thick as the blood that ties you together. You might not get along with your family or even understand them, but they will always be a part of you. I never really got along with my family; I had my problems with them like any other teenager did. It was after we were separated that I learned something. After moving to Gainesville I learned how much my family really meant to me. When you're angry and you see them all the time it's hard to appreciate what you have, but being away I can honestly say, has improved my relationship with my parents considerably. I call frequently and all the tension is gone, because I'm living my own life by my own terms. I know I always have my parents to go back to when I need help, because that's what families do, and they know a little more about me know that they can see me as an adult. I love my family.

My Best Friends

These are my best friends Charlotte and Derek, they are my family too. My sister and my brother, my partners in crime. When I moved to Gainesville for college I left them behind in Miami and I miss them very much. We used to do everything together and I miss that. Late night movies, junk food , pool, beach, shopping, we did it all.

Of course I am lucky enough to have a bunch of friends, both here in Gainesville and in Miami. I also have an amazing boyfriend, Matthew Ariza, That i love with all my heart. I could not imagine my life without him.
