Just for fun :)

In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, singing, writing, going to the beach, shopping and traveling. I also love meeting new people, spending time with family and hanging out with friends. Those close to me also know that I am pretty obsessed with my Maltese Tyler. :)

Ballet Class

Sitting in butterfly position before ballet class

I took ballet for eight years when I was younger. After that, I tried other forms of dance such as jazz, hop-hop and modern. In December 2008, after not having danced ballet in six years, I took a free class at a studio in downtown Gainesville. It felt good to get back into the swing of things, but the next day, my body was aching terribly.

South Beach

South Beach

My friends and I love going to the beach over the summer when I'm home. This picture was taken the day after out senior prom. Pictured from left to right: Alexandra Kayal, Lynette Zilio, Alexis Altamirano and Alejandra Agudelo.

Karaoke Time

Singing Karaoke at Sgt. Pepper's Cafe

During summer 2008, my friends and I sang karaoke every Wednesday at a bar in Miami called Sgt. Pepper's Cafe. After going for a couple of weeks, the DJ began to recongize our faces and some of our names. Above, we're pictured singing "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen. Pictured from left to right: Lynette Zilio, Kelvin Limonte, Christine Alfaro and Daniel Ugarte.

Boat ride to the Grand Canyon

Family trip to the Grand Canyon

For my sister's and my graduation from middle school and high schoool, respectively, my parents gave us a trip to California. While we were there, we took a helicopter and then a boat ride through the Grand Canyon. To this day, it is one of the best vacations we've ever taken as a family. In fact, we used this as our 2007 family Christmas picture! Pictured from left to right: Mayra Zilio, Bernadette Zilio, Lynette Zilio and Paul Zilio.

Florida Football: Florida Gators vs. Tennessee Volunteers

Gators football game

For the second year in a row, I was lucky enough to get Florida football season tickets. Although I'm not the biggest sports buff, I enjoy going to games and cheering on the Gators. When we went to pick up our tickets for the game against Tennessee, we were randomly given front row tickets. It was so exciting, especially when we got to high five our quarterback Tim Tebow after the game!

My dog Tyler

Since I moved to Gainesville for college, I've missed my dog Tyler so much. He's a six-year-old Maltese. Above, he's pictured wearing a Gators' bandana, which he wears every game.
