Photography

I started taking pictures in high school, when I attended photography camp in South Florida during two summers. I learned how to develop photos the old-fashioned way, in the dark room. At the time, digital photography was just beginning to revolutionize the field, and I also learned how to shoot and edit photos digitally.

I received a digital SRL camera (a Canon Rebel) as a graduation gift. Photography became a hobby - I would bring my beloved camera on family vacations and take landscape shots. My junior year of college, I took a photojournalism class and learned how to shoot manually on the camera, greatly improving my photography skills.

Most recently, I has started taking pictures professionally. This past summer I shot event photos for my internship with Metromix.com and took pictures at Jenni and Albert Pavon's wedding. I hope to continue to expand my photography portfolio and perhaps make professional photography my career when I graduate.
