The Swamp

You know what they say: There’s no place like home. Well, I say: There’s nothing like being in “The Swamp.” That is, without a doubt, my favorite place in the world to be. I’ve been to 15 states, three foreign countries and countless cities around the U.S., but what I’ve found is this: Nowhere in the world compares to a Saturday in the fall in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. It happens only seven times a year, and it seems like each time the experience is rejuvenated, never fading away.

Having 90,000 fans screaming in unity and doing the Gator chomp, all in hopes of helping the Orange and Blue to victory – that’s excitement and passion. I wouldn’t rather be any other place than the Swamp. That, to me, is home.
