Outlaw Journalist

For the past month or so, I've been reading "Outlaw Journalist: The Life and Times of Hunter S. Thompson" by William McKeen. I'm about a hundred or so pages into the thing. So far, McKeen, or professor McKeen as most of us call him, has given a vivid account of what it was like to be Hunter S.Thompson. The often drunk and belligerent Thompson was, in most cases, not the average journalist but he made his mark in journalistic history with a lifetime of fascinating shenanigans.

Aside from the book being an easy page-turner, it's also a cheap buy. A click on the book will open Amazon.com in a different window. Professor McKeen's Web site is here.
