Who Am I?

"When the time comes that I know all I can about myself, it will be time for my escape."-Me

I am 27. Wow that looks bad on the screen. I guess its safe to say it has been a long and bumpy road on the path to greatness. I finally discovered my purpose around 2007 when I was at Tallahassee Community College. As layout editor for the school magazine "The Eyrie" and photography editor of the school paper "The Talon" I discovered the power of pictures with my existing talent, words. I was also attracted to photo-journalism after winning a trip to New York for the College Media Advisors Conference in March of 2008. This once in a lifetime experience opened my eyes to the media world and what has come to be my passionate purpose. My decision to attend the University of Florida was guided by my wonderful teachers and family with a promise to sharpen my photography and journalism skills.

I have three brothers, three sisters, two dads, two moms, four dogs, a cat, and a fish. My real father left when I was very young and was lucky enough to acquire Roy, my step-father. As a matter of fact he is part of the reason I am here at UF ($) today, thanks daddy. I have always been described as a tom-boy and a dreamer, but if you ask me, I think those are wonderful traits to have.
