about me

I grew up in Florida but have always been a New Yorker at heart. When I couldn't turn down Florida Bright Futures and a top tier education with a top ten sports program, I went to Florida for my undergraduate degree. After deciding I wasn't into their conceptual painting program, I switched into Advertising where I worked on ads and marketing for VitaminWater and the iPhone. I also traveled to Greece and Spain to study Advertising from a European perspective. Having always been interested in Fashion, I built my own minor by studying at Parsons New York and Istituto Marangoni in Milan during summer vacations. I began interning in 2007 for Betsey Johnson where I worked on eveningwear and accessories. In 2008 and 2009 I interned with Natori working on the young Josie line as well as the sophistocated Josie Natori lingerie and Natorious Ready-to-Wear line. After graduating from UF in 2008, I moved up to New York to attend Parsons AAS Fashion Design program. After working day and night for a year to master the skills of a designer, I graduated from Parsons in December 2009 ready for anything and everything the work force had in store for me. I am currently freelancing for Esprit designing men's and women's clothing and am on the lookout for my next opportunity in the world of fashion!
