My brother, mom, stepadad, niece, & me My main focus in life is my family. They have supported me with the many decisions I have made. It's hard sometimes because I would love to see them more often but then I come to the realization that I am doing this for them. I am trying to give it my all in school so that I can have a good career and then be able to give back to them what they have given to me throughout the years. I appreciate all the sacrifices, love, and support because without it I would not have gotten as far as I have and I'm sure they will be there for the many more miles I have left to go.

My niece Britney & nephew George The ones I miss the most from my family are my niece Britney and my nephew George. I feel like I am missing out on an important part of their life. They are now at the stage where if you don't see them often they may not remember who you are. That to me is heartbreaking; I don't want them to feel like they are not important to me, because they truly are, but it's hard to make a child understand that there are other things in life that you have to do and that not visiting them often isn't a choice for me but with so much school work it is not easy to take a weekend off. Thankfully we have technology though and I am looking forward to having a video chat with them soon so that they could know that their aunt is always thinking of them and loves them very much.

Ryan, Nicole, Jon, Cassandra, Matthew, & me Friends can sometimes become family, and when you see them more often than you see your actual family, they often do. Being away from home is a lot of fun but at the same time you need the love and support you had back home and that's when friends come in the picture. They are always there for me when I need them, as cliche as that sounds. I am very happy to say that I have friends here that I have had since middle school, it's nice to be able to keep a friendship for so long and I'm just as happy with the new friendships I have made so far and the many more to come.
