About Eric

I'm a third-year journalism major, also pursuing minors in economics and communication studies. I'm just your average college student -- well, aside from the fact I never take less than 15 credits a semester, and if I'm not in at least three hours of meetings a day (not classroom meetings) I hyperventilate. Yes, I thrive on stress. Judge away. I live for on-campus involvement. As Director of Community Sales for Gator Growl 2007, I assisted in advertising for the world's largest student-run pep rally. As a member of the public relations team for Dance Marathon 2008 at UF, I helped promote the largest student-run philanthrophy in the southeastern U.S. I also served as a student senator, as well as holding numerous other positions.

I'm a huge Southeastern Conference sports fan. Football, basketball, gymnastics, swimming; it doesn't matter. Any Gator sports team shuts down my pacemaker. I'm also a water fanatic. I doggie paddled before I could crawl. Not literally, but you get the point. I attempt physical fitness by running and visiting the gym several times a week. When I'm not studying, I enjoy curling up with a book or spending time with my friends and fraternity brothers.

After graduation

After completing my undergraduate career, I plan to obtain a Juris Doctor specializing in media and intellectual property law. I fantasize over attending either Georgetown University, New York University or Columbia University for law school. I'm not holding my breath.
