City By The Bay
I Left My Heart In. . .
If youíre trying to find my heart, look no further than that city by the bay. The San Francisco Bay Area is my favorite place in the whole world.
You get the best of both worlds in San Francisco. Itís both a busy metropolis and a scenic splendor. I love driving through the hills against the backdrop of endless blue sky and water.
I visit San Francisco twice a year to see my sister Jennifer, who lives in Oakland. I come once in the winter and once in the summer. I canít decide which San Francisco season is my favorite. The summers are warmer, or course, but in the winter, the hills are bright green.
Seeing The Sites
While I'm in San Francisco, my siter and I tour the city and see the sites. We shop in Union Square and admire the exhibits at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. We browse the boutiques in Saucilito and Carmel. We drive out to Half Moon Bay to see the Atlantic Ocean. There is almost too much to do.
Visiting Wine Country is one of my favorite things to do while in San Francisco. Most people go to Napa Valley to see the vineyards, but I like Sanoma. Itís a little less crowded than Napa and just as beautiful.
The Vianza winery is my favorite vineyard in Sanoma. The wine is wonderful, and the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable.
Vianza is great because it offers a variety of tasting options. In addition to the wine selections, patrons can sample over 100 different delicious dressings and sauces. Itís the perfect place to grab lunch. Eating outside is a must because the view is excellent.
I definatly recommend visiting San Francisco as often as possible. Its culture is truly unique, and the city has something for everyone.
