I completed an undergraduate thesis in creative writing at New College of Florida. 'New Physics Realism': Illustrating Modern Physics was my attempt to contextualize my own writing in an emergent genre. Indeed, modern physics presents us with many paradoxes that turn everyday experience on its head.

My fiction blends cyberpunk, scifi, and the influence of Japanese short fiction. I look to writers like Murakami, Kawabata, Philip K. Dick, and J.G. Ballard for inspiration.

My first selected work is an excerpt from a tale about where I clone myself and f*@k myself.

Next, the Gift is taken from the tale of William Shapely who receives a unique gift on his 44th birthday.

The last selection is from my senior thesis. It's my best story, a cyberpunk tale about a world in which everyone has their own continuous soundtrack.

I hope you find these out-takes thought-provoking...
