Filled the night cops positiong on a temporary basis four nights a week, responsibilities include covering all law enforcement agencies in area, as well as covering night meetings of various kinds. Also responsible for centerpieces on a regular basis.

(Aug. 2003 - Feb. 2004) Stringer for the Gainesville Sun:

Regularly covered Saturday's cops beat, as well as filled-in on one or two stories per week in both metro and features sections

(May 2003 - Aug. 2003) Intern with the Gainesville Sun:

Wrote three to five stories per week while interning in Metro, also spent six weeks in Features department

(Jan. 2001 - July 2002) Arts and Entertainment staff writer for the (now-defunct) Gator Times in Gainesville, FL
