|Traveling Through Black & White|
Though Venice is known through out the world for its beautiful canals, not as many people also know that Holland is also full of them. Though they are not used as a primary source of transportation, they add to the beauty and warmth of this amazing country.
After my stay in Florence, I traveled north to Amsterdam and stayed a week in Utrecht, enjoying the view of canals similar to this one.
During my stay in Utrecht, I climbed the RonDom, the city's cathedral tower. It was a similar experience to the climb up the Duomo with the narrow stairways. At the top, I was again taken away by the beauty of another European city.
I believe this photograph gives the viewer the feeling of being high on a tower looking down upon the city as if he were really there. The view displays the narrow buildings, commonly found all over Holland.
