This is a view from the Powder Tower in Prague in the Czech Republic. I had just taken a course on the history of eastern Europe before coming here the on the summer backpacking trip after I graduated from college so I enjoyed the visit even more than I would have otherwise. Since the Czech Republic has become increasingly westernized in the last decade, I would soon like to go back and visit the rest of eastern Europe to see what it is like before the whole region follows suit and it is too late.
Unless you like boiled meat and pototoes, I wouldn't recommend it for the food. But there are a lot of other good reasons to go such as history, architecture, etc. Also, Budweiser's got nothing on Budvar. Nor much else for that matter.
