Spinach Wraps | Easy Mousse | Frozen Monkey Smoothie | Meringue Candies | Honey Mustard Chicken | Bolognese Sauce

Meringue Candies


* 3 egg whites
* 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
* 1/4 tsp. salt
* 1/2 cup sugar
* 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
* Food coloring (optional)


1) Put racks in the middle of the oven (preheat to 200 degrees)

2) Cut a bottom corner off of a large sandwich bag

3) Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper

4) Draw shapes on the paper with a pencil

5) In a medium-sized bowl, beat whites, cream of tartar and salt until foamy

6) Add 1 tsbp. of sugar at a time, until stiff and glossy peaks form

7) Beat it extract and optional coloring

8) Transfer to bag and use bag to pipe meringue into the shapes on the paper

9) Bake at 200 degrees for 75 minutes

10) Let meringue sit in the over (with the heat off) for another hour

11) Transfer to a wire rack to cool

Serving Size: About 4 dozen
