"Where there is love there is life."
-Mahatma Gandhi

There are so many people I could spend time talking about, from God to my parents, (To learn more about my parents see the Sports Page of this site!), aunts, uncles, and the like. I would like to take a moment to reflect on one of the most important people in my life, my boyfriend, Wade. He and I were--and continue to be--the best example of high school sweethearts. What began as a childhood romance has stood the trials and tribulations of time, as we recently celebrated our ninth anniversary in March 2002. New Year's Eve Photo

The guidance, support, and love of my family and friends has enabled me to accomplish many dreams and to keep reaching for more stars along my path. I could never have made it as far as I have in my life, educational, and career goals if it weren't for the gentle nudges and inspiring words of so many people.

Sports Anchor UCF

While I began my college career with aspirations of becoming a doctor, I found my calling in communications. At the University of Central Florida, I honed my skills in front of the camera as a Radio/Television Broadcasting student. One day I was going to be the next Robin Roberts... or so I thought!

As we all know, dreams can take detours along the way. They can grow or change in an instant. My dream of becoming the next anchor on ESPN somehow got sidetracked, along with the rest of my life, after an auto accident that led to surgeries and time to reflect.

My next dream came in the form of a Gator and has led to many wonderful opportunities. While studying Sports Communication at the University of Florida, I landed an internship for another Gator, the Toyota Gator Bowl. Gator Bowl 2002

While at the Gator Bowl, I was able to learn so much about my new passion, Public Relations, and have way too much fun in the process. The experience led to an epiphany (One my Dad prays lasts!) of grand proportions...This is what I want to do with the rest of my life...(Or until my next detour, whichever comes first!)
