The Hessing Family

My family is an integral part of who I am. We're a close-knit bunch and I wouldn't have itany other way--even though they do get on my nerves from time to time.

This is as complete a picture of the family as I could get, minus one sibling. Why? Well, my brothers don't like taking pictures. (Notice they're the only ones not smiling)

Big Bro and Little Sis

This is my other brother Greg. He's the one missing from the above picture. Out of all my brothers, I would say I relate to him more because he's closer to me in age. I'll always remember how on my first day of elementary school back in Jamaica, I started crying because I was afraid to go to class. Some of his friends were with us, so he tried to put on a brave face to reassure me. Well, I wouldn't stop crying and pretty soon he felt so bad for me that he started crying also. Needless to say, his friends still haven't let him live that down.

Me? Spoiled?

I wouldn't go so far as to say I was a spoiled child growing up, but I can say that my Dad saw to it that I was "well taken care of."

My Mom

Over the past few years, my Mom and I have become the best of friends. Without her I'm not sure what I would do.

My Sister-in Law

Kym is married to my brother Paul. They've been married for four years. I can always count on her for advice.
Interesting Fact--She was the one that helped me to get my driver's license. She took me to the DMV the first TWO times I failed my driving test. DON'T ASK, YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW.

My Little Munchkins

Kemi, Paul Jr., Natalie

My nephew and my nieces are the center of my world. Because I'm here at U.F., I only get to see them when I go back home. I feel like I'm missing out on so much, but they always show me a lotta of love when I see them.
