Fun in the Sun in Florida

"Pale invaders and tanned crusaders are worshipping the sun on the corner of "walk" and "don't walk" somewhere on US 1. I'm back to livin' Floridays blue skies and ultra-violet rays lookin' for better days" - Jimmy Buffett

Florida's laid back atmosphere is contagious to both visitors and natives. The best part of Florida is finding sleeping towns that have a special character all their own. Cedar Key and Steinhatchee are just a couple of places that are barely visible on a map. Tourist towns they are not and it feels like time stops when you hear the gentle lap of the water against ancient barnacle-infested pilings. It's when you've had the 'true' Florida dinner in grouper, grits, hushpuppies, iced tea and key lime pie that you know one thing is for're home.
