- Lavandar(Lavandula vera)- This essential oil help to calm
and sooth the mind and the body. It also helps to heal
bruises, minor cuts and minor burns. The best way to use
lavandar depends on why you want to use it.
- Tea Tree(Melaluca altern.)- This essential oil can act as an
antibacterial for minor irritations and to clean the surface
of the skin. It was first used by European settlers who made
these tree leaves into a drinkable tea in order to aid the
digecstion of their food. The tea tree helped to cleanse their
systems because they did not have advanced methods of
perserving food. Again, the way to use tea tree depends on
why you want to use it, but it is most commonly used as a
topical treatment blended with a carrier oil.
- Rose(Rosa centifolia)- This oil is commonly used for
calming as well. It helps to solve matters of the heart and to
strengthen feminine power and confidence. It also helps to
strenghten and hydrate the skin, and is highly recommended
for dry and mature skin types. Rose is an expensive oil,
though, so use it sparingly in oil blends and baths.
